Our Story

From the heart of Maine—the Dawnland—where rivers run deep and forests hold ancient secrets, comes Stone Circle Herbals. Our name is a tribute to the sacred places of the earth and the enduring wisdom of those who walk upon it. Our brand is born from a deep connection to the land and inspired by the traditions of the Wabanaki Confederacy, a historic alliance of five indigenous tribes:

The Mi’kmaq, known for their vast maritime territory and rich oral history.
The Maliseet (Wolastoqiyik), the “People of the Beautiful River,” renowned for their mastery of birchbark canoes.
The Passamaquoddy, the “People of the Pollock,” whose lives are deeply connected to the tides and coastal fisheries.
The Penobscot, the “People of the White Rocks,” whose culture is woven into the life of the Penobscot River.
The Abenaki, the “Dawn Land People,” known for their skilled agriculture and extensive trade networks.

Each formula is a modern interpretation of the timeless teachings from this heritage, honoring the sacred plants and elements that sustain us. Our Soaps: The Luxury Spa Bar

Our soap is the foundation of our craft. Each bar is a high-performance, skin-conditioning treatment, handcrafted with a premium blend of moisturizing Goat's Milk and rich Shea Butter. We enrich every bar with Kaolin Clay for a silky, luxurious slip. Select bars feature additional benefits, like the soothing properties of Colloidal Oatmeal or the purifying power of Activated Charcoal, creating a dense, creamy lather that leaves your skin feeling soft, nourished, and hydrated.

Beard Care: Balm, Butter & Oil

Our beard care is formulated to treat both the hair and the skin beneath. Our beard oils are lightweight blends containing Jojoba and sweet almond oils to soften and condition. Our beard butters are whipped moisturizers to soothe itch and promote healthy growth. Balms provide a light, natural hold with beeswax to shape and protect.

Body & Hair Oils

Our oils are simple, potent, and pure. Whipped Body Butter is an airy, rich moisturizer that melts on contact for deep hydration. Hair oil is a targeted, herb-infused formula designed to nourish the scalp and strengthen hair from the root.

Lip Care: Balms & Scrubs

Handcrafted with nourishing butters and herb-infused oils. Our lip scrubs gently exfoliate with fine brown sugar, while our lip balms create a protective, long-lasting barrier to heal and prevent chapped lips.

Salves & Sugar Scrubs
